Toques & Truffes

Toques & Truffes is an annual wine and food festival dedicated to the Quercy diamond: the black truffle. An exploration of the beauty of this local, ephemeral and precious delicacy in harmony with the great Malbecs of the Vigouroux family.

Toques & Truffes is a gourmet and precious effervescence brought to life over the last 11 years by Christine Vigouroux, who is passionate about promoting the local natural and gastronomic heritage.

This year, from Saturday 18 January to Tuesday 05 March 2025, there will be more than a month's worth of epicurean and immersive experiences based around the Tuber Melanosporum (Lalbenque's famous black truffle).

To bring this event to life, the Vigouroux family will be showcasing the Malbec art of living in two emblematic venues: the Château de Haute-Serre, whose winemaking table has been selected for the Michelin Guide, and the Château de Mercuès, Relais & Châteaux, a 4-star hotel with a Michelin key and Michelin-starred restaurant.

More than a month of varied epicurean and immersive experiences based around the ‘Tuber Melanosporum’ (the scientific name for the black truffle) will be on offer from Saturday 18 January to Tuesday 05 March 2025.

The Toques & Truffles Menu: a menu created by Chef Yann Boël at the Table Vigneronne, in a bistronomic atmosphere.

Enjoy a variety of gastronomic experiences and culinary celebrations around the truffle. A 100% truffle menu, to delight the taste buds from starter to dessert! Let yourself be seduced by the warm, bistronomic atmosphere of the Toques & Truffles Menu at the Table vigneronne de Haute-Serre.

Extend your immersion by taking part in a rare experience: cavage.\nIn the truffle field of the Château de Haute-Serre, attend a Cavage demonstration after lunch and admire the expertise of the dog who searches for the truffle in the ground using his astute nose, accompanied by Christine Vigouroux thanks to the CAVADOU experience.

CULINARY WORKSHOP

Immerse yourself in the world of a chef and, alongside him, learn to master the aromatic palette of truffles so you can cook them. Assist in the creation of a truffle menu from starter to dessert! These fun, convivial sessions end with a group tasting of the dishes prepared, paired with the Vigouroux family's great Malbecs.

Winegrowers' evenings

Two convivial evenings of candlelight in the warm blond stone cellars of Château de Haute-Serre. Live music, wine tasting and gourmet truffle dishes to share! From 7.30pm onwards, colleagues and friends alike can warm their hearts, bodies and minds...!

This year's program includes: Truffle & Malbec tasting workshops, truffle cooking courses, 100% truffle menus and stays, truffle hunting with a dog (harvesting), winegrower evenings...\nMore than a month of varied epicurean and immersive experiences around Tuber Melanosporum (the scientific name for the black truffle) will be offered this year from Tuesday January 16 to Tuesday February 27.\To bring this event to life, two venues emblematic of the Malbec Art de vivre dear to the Vigouroux family in the Cahors region: Château de Haute-Serre (Michelin Guide selection) and Château de Mercuès (Relais&Châteaux, 4-star hotel and Michelin-star restaurant).

Every winter, from mid-January to early March, there's a whole host of 100% truffle experiences and activities to enjoy and share.
