Toques & Truffes is an annual wine and gastronomy festival dedicated to the ‘diamond of Quercy’: the black truffle. An exploration of the beauty of this local, ephemeral and precious delicacy, paired with the great Malbecs of the Vigouroux family.
Toques & Truffes is a vibrant, gourmet celebration that has been organised for the past 12 years by Christine Vigouroux, who works passionately to showcase the region’s natural and gastronomic heritage.
Over a month of varied, immersive and epicurean experiences centred on the Tuber melanosporum (the famous black truffle of Lalbenque) are on offer.
To bring this event to life, two iconic venues embodying the Malbec art of living, which are dear to the Vigouroux family: the Château de Haute-Serre, whose wine-grower’s restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide, and the Château de Mercuès, a Relais & Châteaux establishment, a 4-star hotel awarded a Michelin key and featuring a gourmet restaurant.
